This award recognises the achievements of partners working together – to widen access to healthcare education or employment. It is presented to a group that has demonstrated the value of collaboration to make a real difference to people’s lives.
This award goes to an innovative partnership between an NHS Trust – and a homeless charity. A partnership that provides apprenticeship opportunities and living accommodation – to young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Only a year into the project – three apprentices have secured permanent Band 2 and 3 roles in Healthcare, Phlebotomy and Therapies.
The award goes to the ‘Live and Work’ project led by Sandwell & West Birmingham NHS Hospitals Trust and St Basils.
