Research and evaluation increases our understanding of what does and does not work – and underpins our programme. This award recognises excellent research and evaluation that has led to improved practice in – access to healthcare education or employment.
This award goes to a project that has provided a detailed understanding of the barriers that exist – for different groups who wish to study medicine. Through the work that was done it has proposed alternatives for medical school selection. These not only support different groups – but also continue to identify those who will make the very best future doctors.
The award goes to the School of Medicine at the University of Liverpool.
