School engagement across Health and Social Care.

Inspiring the Future and Skills for Care will deliver this workshop in collaboration to give you an insight into the importance of school engagement and some practical examples. We will look at engagement activities, facilitated through Inspiring the Future and Skills for Care, such as career speed networking and will include practical advice drawn from our experiences of getting staff in the National Health Service and associated professions to volunteer in schools. In addition to the practical advice we will also be using findings from our research including the ‘Work Tasters, job shadowing and widening participation in the National Health Service’ report to underpin our findings.
